Privacy Policy
GOBLR collects only what it needs to run your account and the features you use. It shows no ads, does no tracking across other apps or websites, and never sells your information.
Who we are
GOBLR is published by Ty Catchot ("we", "us"). OpsCraft builds and operates the app and its servers on his behalf. For any privacy question or request, email goblr@opscraftusa.com.
What we collect
When you sign in
You sign in with Apple or Google. We receive an account identifier and the email address that Apple or Google shares with us. With Apple's Hide My Email, that is a private relay address, not your real one. We never see your Apple or Google password.
Your profile
Your state of residence, if you enter it, so the app can show the licenses and seasons that apply to you. Your subscription tier and the date it is paid through.
Tags and harvests (subscribers)
If you track tags or log a harvest, we store what you enter: the tags you hold, the date and time of a harvest, the county, the subspecies, beard and spur measurements, and, only if you add them, the harvest's location and a photo. Photos are stored privately and only your account can open them.
Disclaimer acknowledgment
The date you acknowledged the in-app disclaimer each season, and which version you saw.
Purchases
Subscriptions are bought through Apple or Google, who handle the payment. We never receive your card or bank details. We receive only whether your subscription is active and when it renews or ends.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers, and no ads.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services.
- No contacts, and no location in the background. A location is stored only when you add one to a harvest.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account working.
- To show the regulations, tags and harvests that are yours.
- To confirm whether you have a paid subscription.
- To answer you when you contact support.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
These companies store or handle data only to run GOBLR:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage, in the United States.
- Apple and Google: sign-in and subscription billing, under their own privacy policies.
- Google Workspace: encrypted database backups and the support mailbox.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Who can see your data
Your tags, harvests and photos are visible only to your account. The app's database rules enforce this. OpsCraft staff do not browse them and access the database only to keep the service running, restore it from a backup, or carry out a request you make.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, it is deleted right away. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 30 days, so deleted data leaves the backups within that time.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account and data at any time, in the app or by email. See Delete your account.
- See or correct your data: most of it is shown in the app. For a copy of everything we hold, or to correct something, email us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state law. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data travels encrypted between the app and our servers. Backups are encrypted before they are stored. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of a breach as the law requires.
Children
GOBLR is for adult hunters and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For a significant change we will also tell you in the app.
